Dr. Sandford takes an active role in assuring that our community is well informed regarding issues surrounding breast cancer and healthy lifestyles. She teaches medical students, family practice residents and the nurse practitioners. She is a frequently invited lecturer to numerous groups both in the medical community and the public. Topics include breast cancer treatment, breast cancer screening, assessing breast concerns, genetic testing, healthy eating and the role diet plays in cancer treatment and staying healthy in general.
